Happy birthday to us!
On Tuesday July 9th, The Public celebrated five years of activist design. Yesterday, Coco and Salma surprised the rest of the team with a belated happy-birthday party, complete with Dollarama party decorations, cupcakes (one for every year!), Spanish rum (sweet enough to break this designer’s edge), and cat-themed awards (we’re all winners, here!).
It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years. We’re especially grateful to all of the people who’ve supported our work to-date: past partners, employees, interns, collaborators, and of course, the beautiful communities who support our work, and trust us enough to support theirs. Thank you for giving us purpose and meaning for the past five years, and we look forward to many more.
