Re-shaped and Re-imagined: A fashion workshop for newcomer girls
Sheila led a workshop at Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto on pattern (textile) making and fashion through storytelling, zine-making, and collaborative design, including a DIY guide on pattern making for participants to take home.
The workshop was part of ReShaped & ReImagined, a fashion entrepreneurship program for newcomer/racialized girls, which offered practical skills training in other forms of creative expression such as screenprinting, sewing, and blogging.
