Create Consent T-shirts
The “Create Consent” t-shirts are here!
The Public facilitated two workshops with the consent working group at OCAD University looking to build consent culture on campus in intersectional and anti-oppressive ways.
Our first workshop explored anti-oppression in collaboration with Maria from the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre (TRCC) where we discussed what consent looks like on campus. In our second workshop, participants designed creative outreach strategies for students on creating support on campus about consent and share resources for students who may experience sexual or gender-based violence.
Through our co-creative process, The Public and OCADU students put out “Create Consent” buttons, a zine, t-shirts, an interactive installation, and a curated art show/panel.
